While the parent company isn’t directly accused of state-level complicity, its Israeli franchisees have openly supported the Israeli military, distributing over $125,000 worth of vouchers and free food to Israeli soldiers in 2023–2025. These actions have sparked grassroots boycott campaigns, especially in Muslim-majority countries. Burger King in Israel reportedly posted on social media to promote their support for IDF reservists during wartime, aligning the global brand with apartheid. Corporate headquarters has not publicly disavowed these activities.
